Dates have many health benefits. Dates are rich in fiber and give the human body quick energy and strength. There are tons of recipes that can be made with dates. Here, I have shared the cake with the dates. This is my favorite recipe because this cake is really superb in taste and softness.

 Date Cake  Recipe Ingredients


  • Dates 225 grams (1 Cup)
  • Boiled water 1 cup
  • All-purpose flour 1 ½ cup
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Salt ¼ tsp
  • Butter ½ cup
  • Eggs 2
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Vanilla essence ½ tsp
  • Almonds 3 tbsp ( optional)

How to Make Simple Date Cake.? Method: 

        

  • Take dates and de-seed all. Now cut into small pieces and pour hot water on them. Put it aside while preparing the cake mixture.
  • Sieve all-purpose flour. Add salt and baking powder. Mix it well and put it aside.
  • Take a bowl and add butter and sugar to it. Beat well with a beater or hand until fluffy.
  • Now add one egg and one tablespoon of all-purpose flour mixture. Beat well. Add 2nd egg like before and beat well.
  • After a few minutes, add all-purpose flour and mix well.
  • Now add dates with water and mix well. Add almonds and mix well.
  • Take a cake tin, line it with butter paper, and spread the oil on paper.
  • Now pour the cake mixture and bake in preheated oven for 30 -40 minutes or until well cooked. The oven temperature would be 180 degrees.
  • Cut cake into slices and serve with tea or whipping cream
