Super Soft Amazing Tea Cake Recipe - Yellow Cake


The Tea Cake is the perfect and best  snack with evening tea. It is really easy to bake at home. It only takes half an hour and delicious, tasty, and super soft  amazing yellow tea cake is ready for you and your family.

Here, I am sharing one of my favorite tea cake recipes and briefly explaining to you how to make this tea cake recipe at home.  I like this amazing sweet dish because it is easy, simple, and the best ever super soft cake. We need a few ingredients to cook this yummy cake.



I made this cake in a kadai/karahi on a stovetop. You can bake it in the oven as well.

 

Yellow Cake Ingredients:

 

1- Eggs  - 3

2- Milk - 5 tbsp

3- Vanilla essence - 1 tsp

4- All purposes flour ( Maida ) - 1 ½ cup

5- Baking powder-  1 tsp

6- Baking soda - ½ tsp

7- Salt - ¼ tsp

8- Sugar - ¾ cup

9- Oil / Ghee -  ½ cup

10- Zarshak Shireen - 1 tbsp

11-  Orange food color - 1 pinch

How to Make Tea Cake at Home.? Method:

 

1- Mix all purposes flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in one bowl.


2- Take another bowl and put eggs in it. Add milk, vanilla essence, and food color, and beat with a hand beater or whisker until it’s fluffy.


3- Now add sugar gradually and mix it.


4- Add oil/ghee to this mixture and mix it very well.


5- Now gradually add a mixture of dry ingredients in it. Fold it in one direction with a spoon.


6- Take a cake tin. Put brown paper in it and grease with oil on all sides. Now pour the cake batter into this tin. Sprinkle zarshak shireen on top and bake.


7- For preparing cake on the stove, Take a karahi/kadai and put salt in it. Put any steel plate or stand in it. Switch on the flame and preheat this on low flame for 1 minute.


8- Now put the cake tin on this stand and cook on very low flame for 50 to 60 minutes or until it's baked.


9- For baking in the oven, preheat the oven for 10 minutes and bake a cake at 180 degrees for 40 – 45 minutes or until baked.


10- For checking if the cake is baked. Take a toothpick and check the cake. If the toothpick is clean it means the cake is cooked.


11-  Serve this tea cake anytime in the day as snacks.
