Undercut beef fillet is the best meat to make this pasanday. This dish belongs to Mughal cuisine so it is rich in flavor and taste is unique. This masala beef pasanday is famous both in India and Pakistan.

For this recipe, we flatten the small pieces of meat with the hammer. Then marinate meat with some spices for two hours. After the marination, the cooking process starts. This usually took one hour to complete the dish.

Ingredients of Pakistani Beef Pasanday.

  • Undercut Beef ½ kg
  • Garlic 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder 1 tsp
  • Vinegar 3 tbsp
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Onion 1 large
  • Cumin seeds ½ tsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Garam masala ¼ tsp
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Water 1 ½ cup

 How to Make Beef Pasanday. Method

  • Take undercut beef and cut it into small pieces. Then flatten every piece with the hammer.
  • Shift in a bowl and add salt, red chili powder, garlic, and vinegar. Marinate for 2 hours or overnight.
  • Take a karahi and add oil to it. Add onion and fry until golden brown.
  • Add cumin seed and marinated beef pasanda. Mix well and cook until the water from the meat dries.
  • Now add yogurt and fry well.
  • Add water and cook on low flame until meat is tender. If require more water add it.
  • When water dries fry well until oil separates.
  • The beef pasandy recipe is ready to serve.
