Chocolate Sponge Cake Recipe: Cakes are a quick sweet dessert and especially chocolate is a favorite food around the world. Chocolate cake can be baked in many ways. There are hundreds of recipes for cake with cocoa powder. Here, I am sharing one of my best ever recipes for cake which is very easy to bake. This super soft cake can be baked in the oven and without the oven. The end result is 100% perfect either you bake it in the oven or without the oven in a karahi.

There is no need for an electric beater for this cake. You can make this cake mixer in a blender.
This super soft chocolate sponge cake is also best to have as it is. There is no need for any whipping cream or syrup on top. This can also be used in many desserts like fruit trifle, pudding, and desserts.
Ingredients of Chocolate Sponge Cake Recipe
- 8 eggs
- All-purpose flour ( Maida ) 200 grams
- Cocoa Powder 4 tbsp
- Sugar 200 grams
- Vegetable Oil c 100 grams
- Baking powder 2 Tsp
- Baking soda 1 tsp
How to Make Easy Chocolate Sponge Cake at Home
- Sieve all-purpose flour (Maida) with baking powder and baking soda. Put it aside.
- Put eggs in the blender. Blend it well until it becomes fluffy.
- Add oil and sugar one by one while the blender is still on.
- After 2 – 3 minutes, add cocoa powder.
- Now shift the cocoa powder mixture to the bowel.
- Mix all-purpose flour (Maida) in it a little bit, Mix it. Do this process in three batches. After adding all the all-purpose flour (Maida) mix it with soft hands.
- Take a cake pan of 22cm. Greased it well with oil.
- Shift the mixture in greased pan.
- Bake it in the oven for one hour at 180 degrees.
- This can also be baked in the pressure cooker at the same time.
