Anda Shami Burger Recipe - Pakistani Street Food


Anda Shami Burger Recipe ( Egg Shami Kabab Burger) is a famous street food of Pakistani cuisine. It is made with egg, shami kabab of dal( pulse), and using different sauces. It is full of appetizing flavors. It is also called Bun Kabab.

Egg Shami Burger Ingredients no. 1 for shami kabab


  • Pulse ( channa dal ) 1 cup ( soaked for 4 hours )
  • Potato ( Aloo) 1
  • Ginger Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red pepper 1 tsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Water 1 cup
  • Green coriander 4 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds ( jeera ) ½ tsp
  • Dry coriander ( khusk dhania) ½ tsp
  • Black pepper ( kali mirch) ½ tsp


Ingredients no. 2 for preparing the burger


  • Long burger 4 pcs.
  • Eggs ( andy ) 3 pcs.
  • Milk 3 tbsp 
  • Salt ¼ tsp
  • Black pepper ¼ tsp
  • Green coriander 2 tbsp
  • Green sauce 6 tbsp
  • Tomato ketchup 6 tbsp
  • Mayonnaise 6 tbsp
  • Cabbage ( bund gobi ) ½ cup
  • Cucumber ( kheera) 1 pcs
  • Oil for frying shami kabab

 How to make Anda Shami burger at home. Method:


  • In a wok, add chana dal, potato, ginger garlic paste, salt, red pepper, turmeric, and water. Cover it with a lid and cook for about half an hour or until the dal is tender and the water dries. Let it cool down and grind it smoothly.
  • Make 8 – 10 shami kababs. Add oil to a pan, dip kababs in an egg, and fry 4 kababs for four burgers. Channa shami kababs are ready for a Shami burger recipe. Put in the side.
  • Now take 2 eggs and add salt, black pepper, and green coriander. Mix well and fry in oil. Put aside.
  • Cut cabbage very thin and mix mayonnaise in it. The coleslaw salad is ready.
  • Cut the cucumber into long pieces.
  • Now prepare anda shami burgers. Put oil in a tawa and fry all burgers on both sides.
  • Take one side of the burger and apply green sauce, tomato ketchup, and coleslaw salad to it. Now cut dal Shami kabab in half and put on the burger. After it put egg omelet. Add a little bit of tomato ketchup and cover with 2nd part of the burger. 
  • Hot the burger on hot tawa for a few minutes.
  • Your anda shami burger ( Bun Kabab ) is ready to serve. Serve it with tomato ketchup.
