The Almond and Poppy Seed Milk Recipe ( Badam aur Khaskhas ka Sharbat ) is a unique blend of two superb dry fruits. It is very easy to make at home. For making this healthy juice, just soak almonds and poppy seeds in water for 3 hours. You can microwave almonds if do not have time for soak. Poppy seeds can be used after cleaning it with water. Cardamom is used to give it aroma.

It gives instant energy and cools down the human body in the scorching heat of summer. People also drink it to strengthen their body. It is also best after a workout instead of other energy drinks.

Ingredients of Badam aur Khaskhas ka sharbat

  • Almonds (badam) ¼ cup/ 2tbsp
  • Poppy seeds (khuskhus) 1 tbsp
  • Fennel seeds ( sunf) ½ tsp
  • Cardamom (elaitchi ) 3
  • Cold Water 2 glass
  • Ice cubes (optional)

 How to make badam aur khaskhas ka sharbat

  • Soak almonds and poppy seeds at night.
  • Remove the almond skin the next day and strain the poppy seeds with water.
  • Make a paste of poppy seeds and fennel seeds using 2 tbsp water. Now add ½ cup water and strain its water in the blender with a strainer or with a muslin cloth (malmal ka kapra)
  • Make a paste of almonds and cardamom using 2 tbsp water.
  • Now add the almond paste in a blender, add sugar and cold water. Blend well.
  • Serve chill using ice cubes if you wish.
