The  White Chicken Handi recipe is a famous Pakistani food at lunch and dinner time. It can be made with boneless or with bone meat. Here, I have made a white chicken handi recipe with the bone for you. It is a creamy and easy recipe.  It is not as spicy as other Pakistani and Indian dishes. The taste of it is mild and using a lot of creams gives it a unique, yummy, and savory flavor.

Following is the recipe for white chicken handi with bone. This creamy, super delicious, and tasty Pakistani dish can be made very quickly. Very few ingredients are used in it. Fresh cream gives a mild taste to it. This delicious recipe can be made in half an hour. This chicken white handi is served with flatbread accomplishing jeera ( cumin seed ) raita and Indian kachumber salad.


Chicken White Handi Recipe Ingredients.

                 

1-   Chicken with Bone:   ½ kg

2-   Yogurt ( dhai ):   ½ cup

3-   Salt ( namak ):   ½ tsp

4-   Green chili ( sabz mirch ):   1 

5-   White pepper ( safad mirch ):   ½ tsp

6-   Oil: ( tail) ½ cup

7-   Onion ( pyaz ):  1 

8-   Water ( pani ): 1 ½ cup

9-   Ginger Garlic paste ( adrak, lehson ):  1 tbsp

10- Poppy seeds ( khakhas ):  2 tbsp

11- Almonds paste ( badam ): 1 tbsp

12- Nutmeg ( jaifal ) , Mace ( jawatri ), Cardamom ( elatchi ) Powde:  ½ tsp

13- Black pepper ( kali mirch ): 5 pcs

14- Cloves ( luong ) 5 pcs, Cinnamon stick ( darchini ):  2 pcs

15- Fresh Cream:  ½ cup

How to Make White Handi Chicken.? Method

 

1-   Boil onion in one cup of water. When it is tender. Let it cool down and make a paste in the blender.

2-   Heat oil in a kadai and add black pepper, cloves, and cinnamon stick. Fry for 1 minute.

3-   Add ginger garlic paste and onion paste. Fry for 5 minutes and add chicken in it. 

4-   Add white pepper, salt, and green chilies. Fry well for 8 – 10 minutes. 

5-   Add water half cup and cover with a lid. Cook on a medium flame for 10 minutes. 

6-   When chicken is tender and water reduces, add yogurt, garam masala (nutmeg, mace, cardamom) powder.  

7-  Cover with lid and simmer for 10 minutes.

8-  Add fresh cream at the end and mix well.

9- Switch off the flame. 

10- White chicken handi recipe is ready to serve.
