Chicken Shami Kebab - Authentic Pakistani Snacks Recipe by Cooking with Sisys. Chicken Shami Kebab is a delicious and yummy food in Pakistani and Indian cuisine. Shami Kabab is served as a teatime snack. This can also be served in Lunch and dinner as a side dish.

There is a huge variety of kebabs and it can be made in many different ways. Kababs are made with chicken, mutton, beef, pulses, and vegetables. In my point of view, chicken shami kebabs are delicious.




I have shared my recipe to make these kebabs. It can be frozen for 3 -4 weeks so it is a handy snack in today’s busy routine, especially for working women and students. Chicken shami Kabab is also used for making sandwiches.

Tasty Chicken Shami Kabab Ingredients NO. 1

 

1- Chicken -  ½ kgs

2- Channa Dal -   ¾ cup

3- Garlic  - 6 – 7 pieces

4- Onion -   1 medium

5- Ginger  - 1” piece

6- Potato ( Aloo ) - 1 medium

7- Salt - ½ tsp

8- Red pepper whole  - 8 pieces

9- Turmeric  - ¼ tsp

10- Water  -1 glass

 

Ingredients NO. 2

 

1- Salt -  ½ tsp

2- Red pepper  - ½ tsp

3- Green pepper  - 2 

4- Black pepper - ¼ tsp

5- Cumin seeds - ( Zeera ) 1 tsp

6- Dry coriander -1 tsp

7- Egg -   1

8- Green coriander - 2 tbsp

9- Oil - for frying.

 

 

How to Make Shami Kabab.? Method:

 

1- In the pressure cooker, add all the ingredients NO. 1 and cook in the pressure cooker for 8 – 10 minutes. Now flame off and check if the chicken and dal are cooked. Dry all the water in it if there is.


2- Now take the cooked chicken and separate the bone from the meat. Discard the bones.


3- Add salt, red pepper, green pepper, black pepper, cumin seeds, and dry coriander. Grind it in the grinder and make a paste.


4- Now add one egg and green coriander and mix well. Put it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. 


5- After 15 minutes, make shami kabab according. 


6- Heat the oil in the pan. When it is hot fry kabab on both sides. It should be golden brown on both sides.


7- Serve with tomato ketchup.
